Jake Everdale is in serious need of some Homework Help! He's about to flunk science class and his mom is threatening to pull him off the baseball team as result. There's only one way to save baseball season.
No, it's not afterschool cram sessions (shudder!) The answer lies in the famed Franklin Elementary School Wishing Well. Playground legend has it that when you drop a prized possession into the old storm drain at the edge of the kickball field, you're granted one special wish.
But when Jake sacrifices his Heroes of History action figure set, the wishing well works better than he ever could have imagined. . . A tiny, pocket-sized Isaac Newton is suddenly live, in person, and ready to help!
In each book, Jake will see two different Heroes of History come alive to share their expertise, with hilarious and unintended results.
